Excellent service! We’ve had sporadic issues with mice that our building has not been able to address despite monthly exterminator visits. I called Ron and he offered to send someone out the same day. John came (even arrived early) and got to work assessing every room and identifying the issues (holes). He was extremely thorough and filled all holes with foam and copper (behind radiators and kitchen sink). Talked us through the entire inspection and treatment. Hoping this solves the problem but glad they left a few bait stations to check back in 30 days (part of the service) and ensure the problem has been fully addressed. Thank you!

A rat. In my house. Endless construction on the water main outside my house rattled the critters in my neighborhood and one managed to get in. I called on a Friday night and Ron sent his son to my place first thing the next morning and found the access point sealed it, checked the whole house, and even found a mouse hole we didn’t know about (my cat might be annoyed about that one) . He was thorough, professional and answered every question. We have a plan to make sure we stay rodent free during the digging outside. Couldn’t be happier.

We had an ongoing mouse issue in our first floor Hoboken apartment for about 2 months. The condo building we live in has an exterminator come quarterly, who would throw down traps and poison- which did nothing for the ultimate problem.
I called City Express, they gave me a quote over the phone, and we set up an appointment for that coming weekend. The guy who came did an extremely thorough job- he didn’t seem rushed, pulled out every appliance, looked in every crevice. Found the entrance points and filled them with copper mesh so they wouldn’t eat through. He also took the time to explain how to prevent future problems and how to watch for signs of mice returning.
It has been two months into winter and we have been mouse-free. I can finally stop walking on eggshells because of my mouse-phobia 🙂 Thanks again to City Express for doing such a thorough job.

We had a terrible mouse problem in our old apartment where mice were coming in from under the dishwasher, under the stairs, and under the HVAC units. City Express came in, figure out all of the “secret” entrances and patched up all of the holes — even the ones we didn’t think about. They also laid down bait traps and gave us advice on why the building’s glue traps weren’t working (mice were too used to them and had figured how to get around them).

The exterminators were extremely thorough, enough that when we moved into a new apartment, we called them again, to mouse-proof the new place. They did an examination, told us where there might have been a rodent problem in the past, but told us that the real problem was insects. Because we asked for a mouse-proofing that ended up not being needed, they threw in a pet-safe spraying for bugs. Great service!

These guys are amazing. I am squeamish and new to NY so when I saw 2 mice in my apartment on a Saturday morning I had a total meltdown. I tried 2 different places that claimed to be “24 hours” but neither had anyone available and both were kind of rude. Then I found City Express and not only were they kind/warm on the phone but their exterminator Steve showed up within an hour and was extremely professional and efficient. I felt totally taken care of and honestly if he hadn’t helped me so quickly I would have probably had to sleep at a friend’s place until Monday, which was the soonest my super could send someone. These guys are pros and left my apartment spotless and perfectly sealed up. They also checked in with me after the service to make sure I was happy. Bonus for the ladies: Steve is cute. A+ experience!

The crazy heat wave brought out a SWARM of ants in my garden apartment. INSIDE and at 9pm on a Saturday night in July.

It was seriously a Twilight Zone experience, there were thousands of them, winged and not winged. It was overwhelming and a bit scary.

I called around to a few exterminators, skeptical and wary as I have dogs and am not a fan of toxins in the household.

Finally, I got a call back from a guy named Steve, from City Express. He was attentive and caring and immediatly assuaged my fear of the problem, as well as the toxicity of the pesticides at their disposal. My questions about fees were answered a few minutes later when Steve’s call was follwed up by his boss, Ron, who owns the company. He too was polite and clear, the price was acceptable and the choice was clear that these guys were the ones to handle the problem.

So, Steve showed up in a timely fashion and really took his time with the process, patiently sucking up every last tiny invader with his extermi-vac and then treating the perimeters and injecting the wall facing the garden. He was confident, capable and at ease, which greatly assuaged my nerves about the whole event. He then placed everything back where it was, and cleaned up perfectly after himself, leaving me clear instructions about when the area would be safe for the dogs again.

The level of professionalism and respect was unparalleled. Without hesitation, I will use this company again should the need arise. Highest reccomendations.
